Opera is a project born out of the dream and the needs of 4 architect students who gave up the limited university flat by hiring a former engineer workshop. It was an empty open space shaped as an irregular square with 7 meters height in where there were still some big attached tools left from the former machinery. The space is organized as a large architecture workshop with movable furniture, sleeping units and workspaces all mounted on wheels, with the aim of being able to modulate the space according to the needs and events. Only the service areas are fixed elements. The wheeled elements dynamically transform the space, creating new environments for other purposes every time.
